Serenity is defined as ‘the absence of mental stress or anxiety’. At our salon, we strive to achieve this for all of our clients and staff.

Serenity was realized by twin sisters from Nanaimo, Megan and Jessie McGarrigle. They both imagined a place where clients could come to get away from the hectic lives we all lead today - if only for an hour - and leave feeling rejuvenated. The girls grew up on Vancouver Island and sought to transfer the relaxed atmosphere of a calm day at the beach into a salon setting. The same clarity you experience from having your feet in the sand, staring at the ocean, is how you will feel after one of our soothing scalp treatments or a relaxing massage.

The West Coast look & feel of our salon is made all the more authentic by being centrally located in the Harbour City. We at Serenity recognize that Nanaimo is growing into a bigger city every day; with that comes the demand for high quality services and professional products.
